Blue Foundation ~ Eyes on Fire
I recently heard this song used in a poi video and loved it… Alas, when I searched for it on youtube, it seems that it is on a Twilight soundtrack or something. I haven’t seen any of the movies (nor care to) or read the books, but I do enjoy this track (the version in the movie is the dubstep remix by Zeds Dead, but this is the original).

The video has been shoot in the nightclub “The Black Hole”, in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. Located in the foothills of the Ural Mountains.
During the Cold War the city did not appear on any official maps and was a closed off atomic zone, which produced tanks and the first atomic bomb of the Soviet Union.
For 45 years, Chelyabinsk, was closed to all foreigners and journalists .
Only in January of 1992 did President Boris Yeltsin sign a decree changing that.
For decades the atomic complex Mayak has let out radioactive water directly into the Techa - Chelyabinsk largest river. Scientists and environmental organizations call the area ‘one of the the most polluted places’ on earth.
Besides its war industry, the city is has a very vibrant dance scene.

I realize I’ve been neglecting this tumblr lately… I even missed posting my all time favorite holiday video/track for xmas. This also happens to be my favorite single in the entire damn radio station I work for, not because I play it often - I generally only play it a couple times a year - but because it is fantastic in oh, so many ways.

I haven’t been on tumblr much this week, so I missed the proper tribute day (Wednesday).
Ian Curtis died 31 years ago this week - we still mourn his loss.
I recommend watching Control, in memory of his life.
Meanwhile, I still love New Order….
