I realize I’ve been neglecting this tumblr lately… I even missed posting my all time favorite holiday video/track for xmas. This also happens to be my favorite single in the entire damn radio station I work for, not because I play it often - I generally only play it a couple times a year - but because it is fantastic in oh, so many ways.

Nina Simone, Felix Da Housecat - Sinnerman
This is one track that I’ve been overplaying (just a bit) on the radio for years now. It has recently appeared in a cellphone commercial, which was semi-shocking for me and actually made me stop and listen to a random tv. It is a great mix and I rather like this video, which I just saw for the first time tonight.
You can find it on the Verve Remixed 2 album. I sincerely and completely recommend all the Verve remixed albums - I love them and you’ll hear bits and pieces often on my show of each of them.
